Tilapia, Lemon Veg, and Couscous

This is a really fresh tasting dish I made this summer and it is crazy cheap.

(I bought everything at trader joes for this meal)

Ingredients:

  • Tilapia
  • couscous
  • cinnamon
  • slivered almonds
  • bell peppers
  • onions
  • limes
  • lemons

Steps:

  1. Separate the frozen tilapia and thaw in hot water
  2. While tilapia is thawing, turn on a skillet with olive oil and throw on bell peppers and onions cook for 15 minutes
  3. Place tilapia on a big enough square of foil to wrap the tilapia in
  4. Place cooked peppers and onions around the tilapia
  5. Season with lemons and limes (you can leave the slices in the foil)
  6. Wrap up the fish and vegetables in the foil and cook for 15 minutes (until fish is flaky) on 350 degrees

Couscous

  1. Follow directions on package and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg when done cooking
  2. Garnish with slivered almonds
